The results for our 2011 year-end charitable donation are in. Thank you, everyone, for your vote. All of the initiatives are worthy and making the decision based on your opinions made the process of choosing between them a lot easier.



The organization with the most votes is the Alzheimer’s Association, the leading, global voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care and support, and the largest private, nonprofit funder of Alzheimer's research.

Our Constant Law Group donation will go to the Massachusetts and New Hampshire Chapter. Visit their website for more information.

During our survey we asked how this organization has made an impact on you, your loved ones, your community or our society. While many responses were powerful, there was one we thought embodied the reasons why it’s important to give. After the disease struck a loved one, one respondent shared this:
 

While it may be most common to give at year-end, we encourage you to think about lending your support to them, or any charitable organization for that matter, throughout the year. Whether or not it’s in your budget, you can always volunteer. The economy has taken a toll on charities and many will appreciate donations of time just as much as they appreciate dollars.
